Like a disappearance of a Torch, all those who have no knowledge of the Crimson World have forgotten him including his closest friends and family. Shana continues training at Chigusa's house, and things are still very awkward between Kazumi and Ike Hayato since Ike's love confession to her . Shana and Kazumi still have hope that Yuji exists due to the fact that their letters given specifically to Yuji have not disappeared. However, it is shown that Yuji still exists but makes a contract with a Crimson Lord and takes the Palace of the Stars' throne as the new leader of Bal Masque.
